Lovely base for 1 night. Gorgeous and great breakfast and on time.

Stayed here for 1 day, greatly enjoyed the hotel, it was clean with amazing and fantastic location to ferries to Orkney.

A lot of food for breakfast, it was great. The location was peaceful and perfect - just off Thurso and John o'Groats, a beautiful garden that attracted all the birds and with views to the fields beyond and the local restaurant.

High-class and airy room for what we needed with tea/coffee, a shared bathroom, a delicious breakfast.

Extremely comfy bed in double room with iron/ironing board, coffee and tea making facilities, and a TV.

Everything is perfect, I truly enjoyed it. The hotel's staff are affable. It has wonderful remote location close to the Gills Bay ferry. As for me the food is fab, and they have plenty of meals.

Lovely, clean room with great view. Freshly cooked, delicious breakfast. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Motorcycle-friendly driveway. Overall a recommended place to stay.

We lovely spend 1 night in Thurso. The staff were helpful and very friendly all the time. The room was airy, with a coffeemaker, a dining area and ironing facilities. Garden view was a bonus.

A great selection of goodies for breakfast. Well decorated and spotless units with a shared bathroom as well as matching decor in the bedroom. Excellent location of the hotel to ferries to Orkney.

The value for money at this B&B was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and had stunning views of the beautiful garden. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

The only thing that could have improved the breakfast menu was adding more vegetarian options.

My stay was quite comfortable on our NC500 road trip. The location close to the Gills Bay ferry was amazing and fantastic.

All in all everything was absolutely fine, had a very pleasant stay on our NC500 road trip. Everyone was amiable as well as host. They gave us wheelchair accessible room with matching decor in the bedroom, tea/coffee, as example and that was essential. The breakfast deal was great with great view and cereals tea coffee, as example;))

I had an exceptional stay at this B&B in the beautiful northern part of Scotland. The owners were warm and welcoming, making me feel like part of their family. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom had plenty of space. The breakfast, prepared in front of my eyes, was delicious and catered to my vegan needs. Plus, being able to feed highland cattle was a unique experience. I highly recommend this B&B for a memorable stay in Scotland.

The room was modern and spotlessly clean with a lovely en-suite and a coffee machine. Peter and Carmel were friendly and helpful, even sorting out my satnav. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of fruits, cereals, tea, coffee, and a full breakfast. The location is perfect for local landmarks and beaches, and a short drive into town for restaurants. Peter and Carmel were knowledgeable about the area and great hosts.
